Light as a
subject matter had always interested me. Our
interpretation of our world is shaped by it.
What we see is how we define what is real.
The light that we see is always in movement
and has undergone a journey through time and
space. This state of flux and movement is
what fascinates me.
In a city
as diverse as London there are a multitude
of layers of light. Different types of light
can be seen at night, illuminating
structures, buildings and places of
occupancy. All these different elements make
up the illuminated city.
Drawing with light
Any light we see is travelling
towards us, so whether the light from a
distant star or the light from a distant
structure a journey has already begun. This
journey can be told through the eyes of a
camera. It seems we can slow the elements of
light through shutter speed |
